Speedy aboard the ferry to the Fogo Islands.

This is the second Lions Club campgrounds we've stayed in, both directly on the ocean and both very inexpensive. High on views and low on amenities.

Loved the quiet hours ...

This is the back lot of the park, quite lovely in its own way. But looking beyond the rooftop tent to the very top of the cliff behind was our goal. The Brimstone Head Trail.

The trail is a little over a kilometer roundtrip. It includes areas of wooden stairs.

According to the Flat Earth Society, this is the end of the world.

The platform at the very top was extremely windy. I had a hard time walking, not due to the trail but due to the crosswinds.
